Quality over quantity?while not an eligible city voter, do you have any similar thoughts on the size of the TNRD board?

The TNRD board is big but the challenge is a little different because of the large geographical area of the region, which is divided up into electoral areas as well as municipalities. If the number of rural directors was decreased, it would mean the remaining ones would have much bigger areas to represent and would likely have trouble serving them adequately. Whereas in the at-large city format, each councillor represents the entire city.
