Authors to discuss Vietnam book tonight

ARTS/ ENTERTAINMENT — Husband-and-wife authors Bruce Logan and Elaine Head will be featured in a reading and discussion at 7 o’clock tonight (Wednesday, April 9) about their book Back to Vietnam: Tours of the Heart.

The event is hosted by the TNRD Library System and will be at the Kamloops Library.

The couple’s book looks at Vietnam from two different perspectives. One takes readers back to the battlefields of the Vietnam War and Logan’s experiences during that conflict when he served with the United States Army as a young officer.

The second perspective looks at Vietnam in the present day, as the authors return 40 years after war’s end to help that country with its rebuilding process through their ongoing humanitarian work.

The event is free but space is limited, so anyone wishing to attend is asked to contact the Kamloops Library at 250-372-5145.
