CITY – Spring/ summer activity guide and expanded swim schedules released

The City’s 2026 Spring/Summer Activity Guide is here, bringing a full lineup of programs designed to help residents make the most of the warmer months from April through August.
Residents wanting a hard copy of the guide can get one as of March 4 at the following locations:
- City Hall, 7 Victoria Street West
- Tournament Capital Centre, 910 McGill Road
- McArthur Island Sport and Event Centre, 1665 Island Parkway
- Brock Arena, 2470 Fleetwood Avenue
- Valleyview Arena, 353 Highland Road
- Memorial Arena, 740 Victoria Street
- Sandman Centre, 300 Lorne Street
- Westsyde Pool and Fitness Centre, 859 Bebek Road
- Kamloops Museum and Archives, 207 Seymour Street
- Local libraries, 100-465 Victoria Street and 693 Tranquille Road
- Kamloops Seniors Community Centre, 730 Cottonwood Avenue
- Kamloops Immigrant Services, 448 Tranquille Road
- Interior Community Services, 396 Tranquille Road
The City is expanding swim lesson options for summer 2026.
Canada Games Aquatic Centre will continue to offer two-week lesson sets. Westsyde Pool and Brock Outdoor Pool will now offer standard lesson sets (8–12 lessons held twice per week over a longer period).
Registration for spring and summer programs, including swim lessons, will be available on Tuesday, March 10. Online registration will begin at 6:30 a.m. at Kamloops.ca/Register. For those preferring other registration methods, starting at 10 a.m., residents may register by phone at 250-828-3500 or in person at one of the following locations:
- Tournament Capital Centre, 910 McGill Road
- Westsyde Pool and Fitness Centre, 859 Bebek Road
- Kamloops Museum and Archives, 207 Seymour Street
Swim lesson schedules will be available online ahead of registration day at Kamloops.ca/Swim or in hard copy at the Tournament Capital Centre and Westsyde Pool and Fitness Centre.
A recreation account is required to register for programs. Residents are reminded to prepare before registration day and set up a recreation account by visiting Kamloops.ca/Recreation or calling 250-828-3500.
Residents are encouraged to ensure their online recreation accounts are up to date with their current email address so they receive time-sensitive emails, particularly when joining a wait-list.
