POLICE – 30-year-old man wanted for assault, weapons possession

Kamloops police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a wanted 30-year-old man.

Darion Erickson has two unendorsed warrants related to offences including assault, possession of a weapon, possession of prohibited weapon, possession of stolen property and failing to comply with undertaking out of Fort St. James.

“It is believed that Darion Erickson is in the Kamloops area, but may be travelling to other areas as well,” said Cpl. Dana Napier, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson.

“If anyone sees him or has information related to his whereabouts, please do not approach him, but contact your nearest police detachment as soon as possible.”

Darion Erickson is described as:

• 6’2”
• 200 lbs
• Black hair
• Brown eyes
