MISSING – Kamloops woman who disappeared from home found dead

A Kamloops woman who went missing several days ago has been confirmed as deceased, and a media report quotes police as saying her death isn’t suspicious.

The family of Sheri-Lynn Bissonnette, who was last seen leaving her home last Wednesday morning (Nov. 26, 2025) in her pickup truck, was found dead on Monday. While police have not released an update, confirmation of her death came via social media.

The cause of death is unknown, as is the location where she was found.

Her son Trevor Purpur wrote in a Facebook post, “As of right now we have no information to give to the public. We ask that everyone please respect the privacy of the family as we grieve together during this difficult time. We would like to thank everyone who actively searched and helped us during the last few days. We have no words to express our gratitude for the support this community has shown.

A Go Fund Me page has been opened to raise funds for “funeral costs, time away from work, and the many unforeseen expenses that come with such a sudden loss.” It has raised more than $9,000 so far.

A Castanet story today (Dec. 2, 2025) quoted RCMP as saying the death is not suspicious.
