POLICE – Three people sent to hospital after knife fight in Westsyde

Police attended to multiple calls of a knife fight in the parking lot of a Westsyde business this past weekend.

On Nov. 8, 2025, at about 4:15 p.m., Kamloops RCMP responded to reports of a large fight involving knives in the 3400-block of Westsyde Road.  Social media chatter at the time suggested the location was Westsyde shopping centre.

Details related to why the fight broke out are still being investigated.  While three people went to hospital with what is believed to be serious non-life-threatening injuries, no arrests have been made.

“The Kamloops RCMP Detachment’s General Investigation Support Team is working to further the investigation,” said Cpl. Dana Napier.  “As part of the ongoing investigation, Forensic Identification Services has also been engaged to assist with advancing the file.”

Anyone with information or video of the fight is asked to call the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and cite file 2025-37389.
