Two NorKam students were taken to hospital by ambulance today (Nov. 6, 2025) after being hit by a vehicle while crossing Kenora Street near the school.

Their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. They had gotten off a City bus at about 8:30 a.m. and were behind the bus to cross the street when they were hit, says RCMP Cpl. Dana Napier.

She said the driver stayed on scene and was cooperating with investigators.

She asked anyone who saw what happened, or has dash cam footage to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and cite file 2025-37094.
