POLICE – Stolen truck used to ram through door of business for theft

A stolen truck was used to break into a business in the early hours this morning (Nov. 5, 2025).

Just before 2 a.m., Kamloops RCMP received a report that a vehicle had backed up through the front door of a business in the 1300-block of Hillside Drive and the driver had stolen some items before driving away.

“Although the vehicle was gone prior to police attending it was later found after receiving a tip from the public of a suspicious vehicle,” said Cpl. Dana Napier.  “Police were able to match items that were stolen with those located inside the truck.”

The vehicle was found unoccupied. Kamloops RCMP Forensic Identification Services will be conducting an examination. Anyone with information or video footage in the area is asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and cite file 2025-36965.
