POLICE – Woman stabbed during fight on Tranquille Road; suspect arrested

 Police are  investigating an assault with a weapon that took place in the early morning hours on the North Shore.

At around 2:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025, Kamloops RCMP were called to the 200-block of Tranquille Road after receiving a call that two women were fighting, and a woman had been stabbed during the fight.  Multiple police attended and one suspect was arrested nearby.  The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries and is expected to recover.

“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident and who has not yet spoken with investigators to please come forward,” said Cpl. Dana Napier.  “We are also asking businesses nearby to review their security footage around that time to help us further the investigation.”
