LETTER – After 50 years of paying taxes, seniors deserve more than poverty

After paying taxes for 50 years…a living wage.

Pension poverty is un-Canadian.

Seven million Ssniors are on Pension Poverty and seven million Seniors will vote in the next election.

Dear Mr. Caputo,

We’re out here, and we’re suffering.

After working 50 years, we receive approximately $17,000/year.  The poverty level in Canada is $25,000 per year.

Sir, you have one bill to introduce this fall that will make a difference in the lives of seven million Canadian Seniors.

Please, make this one bill count!
