The Kamloops Sports Council, in collaboration with the City of Kamloops, Tourism Kamloops, and the Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association, will put together the first ever Kamloops Christmas Market from Nov. 21 to 30, 2025.
The event will transform the Heritage House parking lot at Riverside Park into a festive, European-inspired outdoor marketplace, “bringing the warmth and wonder of the holidays to the heart of Kamloops.”
Visitors will find a curated selection of handmade goods, artisanal gifts, local food and wine vendors, and craft breweries.
“This event is a true community collaboration,” said Duncan Olthuis, the Kamloops Sports Council’s executive director. “It reflects the creativity, culture, and spirit of Kamloops. We’re thrilled to be launching something that will have a lasting impact on our city.”
Eric James Fisher, Tourism Kamloops’ CEO, said the event is “a unique and special opportunity to spotlight local artisans, provide a new platform for entertainers, and welcome both residents and visitors into a shared experience of festive celebration and togetherness.
“This new annual event holds exciting potential to strengthen our tourism offering while supporting small businesses during a key time of year.”
Vendor applications are now open. Interested vendors are encouraged to apply through the website at KamloopsChristmasMarket.ca.
