POLICE – Chainsaw ripped off from store, suspect being sought

The Kamloops RCMP detachment is looking for help identifying a man in a recent theft investigation.

On Thursday, July 17, 2025, around 2:20 p.m., police were called to the 1000 block of Hillside Drive where a man stole a Ryobi chainsaw valued at about $700.

“As part of the investigation, police obtained an image of the suspect and are releasing it to the public in hopes that someone can make an identification,” said Cpl. Dana Napier.

  “If you have seen the suspect, the stolen item, or have information related to this investigation, please contact police.”
