Kamloops RCMP are looking for a suspect after a camera was stolen from a residence.

On July 9, around 1 a.m., a resident noticed a man outside of their residence tampering with their surveillance camera. The resident called police immediately but the man fled the area.

“We encourage the public to always report suspicious activities in their neighbourhood,” said Cst. Sofie Winkels. “Since then, police have obtained a photo and are releasing it to the public with the hope that someone will recognize the person and reach out to investigators.”

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information related to the investigation is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2025-21868.

Let’s take a wild guess at the risk of seeming intolerant and say that this guy is not employed at a paying job. Vagrency laws and conscription would possibly be an incentive to sober up and get a job.

  2. Another scumbag embolded by the reality of there being no consequences for crime.

The city of Nanaimo wants to erect a fence around city call to block all the chaos from an adjacent safe supply site that’s sitting next door. City of Nanaimo is putting the fence up at the wrong building. We don’t need to keep these scumbags out, we need to keep these scumbag criminal addicts in.
