POLICE – Truck, motorcycle collision on Tranquille Road injures one

A collision involving a pick-up truck and a motorcycle closed Tranquille Road on Wednesday.

On June 11, 2025, around 1 p.m., Kamloops RCMP Traffic Section and frontline officers responded to a report of a collision at the intersection of Tranquille Road and 8th Street involving a truck and a motorcycle. One person was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

“A brief road closure occurred in order to maintain safety and facilitate a thorough investigation by the Kamloops Traffic Services,” said Cst. Sofie Winkels.

The investigation is still ongoing. Anyone who witnessed or has information that may be related, including dash camera footage that could have captured the vehicle prior to the collision, is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2025-18223.
