POLICE – Homicide victim from year ago identified as Keenan James Robertson

Kamloops police are releasing the name of a man who was murdered May 31, 2024 in an effort to continue to advance the investigation.

On May 31, 2024, at approximately 12:08 a.m., Kamloops RCMP frontline officers were called to the 2500-block of the Trans Canada Highway East for a report of a person who had been shot.  Police arrived and located a deceased man in one of the rooms.  The man has since been identified as Keenan James Robertson.

“As the Kamloops RCMP Serious Crime Unit work persistently on this file , they are hopeful that by sharing the name of the victim they will be able to further the investigation,” said Cpl. Dana Napier, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson.

Investigators are appealing to the public to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 if they have any information about the death and cite file 2024-16432.
