BEING CANADIAN – The guy with the patriotic video is back, defiant as always

JOE CANADA is back. His real name is Jeff Douglas, and he works for CBC. And he’s still wearing a flannel shirt.

Twenty-five years ago, he was featured in a beer commercial in which he proudly declared, “I am Canadian.” It went viral.

This week, a new YouTube video was released but this time it’s not about selling beer. It’s about Donald Trump and his threat to make Canada the 51st American state.

And this time, the rallying cry is, “We are Canadian.” Watch it below.
