POLICE – Body of missing 68-year-old skier found near Sun Peaks

The body of a 68-year-old man who was last seen on Dec. 10, 2024, has been found near Sun Peaks.

Tomasz Jaholkowski, who had been skiing at the resort, was reported missing Dec. 11 and the public’s assistance in locating him was requested yesterday (Dec. 12). He was last spotted at the West Bowl chair lift.

RCMP said today that no criminality is suspected in his death. The BC Coroners Service has been notified and is investigating along with police.

The Tk’emlúps Rural RCMP Detachment offered its condolences to the man’s family and friends.
