Kamloops RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

David Glenn Thomas Hurst, 65 years old, failed to return to his residence on July 29, 2024, as per the conditions of his parole, and he is now considered unlawfully at large.

Although David Hurst was initially reported as last seen near 5th Avenue and St. Paul Street around 1:30 a.m. on Monday, July 29, further investigation indicated he was observed in Merritt later that day, on a bus destined for Vancouver, said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn

Hurst is described as:

  • 65 years old
  • Indigenous male
  • 6’4
  • 124 lbs
  • Grey hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Uses a red and black wheelchair

He was last seen wearing a cowboy hat, brown boots, black pants, and brown jacket.

Anyone who sees David Hurst or has information that could help locate him, is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 or their nearest police detachment.
