POLICE – Local man goes missing after last being seen on 3rd Avenue

 

UPDATE: Dec. 22 2023 – RCMP reported today that Garth Killips has been located and is safe.

Earlier story from Dec. 20:

Kamloops RCMP are trying to find  a missing man.

Garth Killips, age 56, was last seen northbound on 3rd Avenue around 11 a.m. on Dec. 19, 2023.

“Mr. Killips requires medication and we are concerned for his wellbeing,” said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn.

“If you see him, please do not approach, and instead contact police.”

He was last seen wearing a dark grey puffy coat with a green sweater underneath, blue jeans, black boots, and a dark camouflage backpack with a Canadian flag on the back.

Anyone who has seen Killips or has information on his whereabouts is asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-44418.
