The suspect truck, a black Dodge Ram, was located on fire around 2:50 a.m. on the 2000-block of Tremerton Drive. It was reported to have been stolen from a residence on Belfour Drive around 2:30 a.m.

“Police, including frontline officers, members of the Police Dog Service Unit, the Kamloops RCMP Forensic Identification Services Unit, and the General Investigations Support Team, are all involved in the investigation, which remains in its early stages,” said Cpl. Crystal Evelyn.

“We are asking anyone who has any security or dash cam footage, or information related to the stolen vehicle report, shooting, or fire, to please contact police as soon as possible.”

Two suspects connected to the shooting were described as males; one dressed in a black top, dark pants, and white shoes with orange on the back; the other in a black top, blue jeans, and black shoes with orange on the bottom.
