FORSETH – Nothing justifies all this crass, low-life, guttersnipe behaviour
I AGREE WITH BRIAN LILLEY — the people in this video have indeed lost their minds.
I’ll go even farther … racist, lowlife, crude degenerates are running amok in public with what seems like impunity — what the hell is wrong people?
And yet when I, and others, call this kind of behavior out, and say that it is crass and should not be allowed, unbelievably there are those who will disagree.
On posts which I, and others, have made, these have been just a small sample of the responses which have been made, and believe me these are the mild ones:
I disagree. This prime minister (Justin Trudeau) has belittled, denigrated & demonized Canadians. Now the shoe is on the other foot. This is how we PREVENT fascism, which has become the norm, under this regime. I do agree that it’s ugly, but Trudildeau’s constant harping about the “right wing” makes it necessary.
Give it a rest, you’re a total Trudeau lapdog & Canadians don’t need permission to protest, look it up sometime.
Look up being abused for eight years by a malignant narcissist. Then you’ll see why people are behaving like this. If this is even real. Trudy would set something like this up for sympathy.
Doesn’t seem to be getting the message. He is such a misogynist, he doesn’t care.
Gee okay not your Canada” then it’s not your problem; wouldn’t that be the logical assumption? But keep trying to dictate others actions you know because every Liberal has that fascist/socialist undertone running through their narratives.
Music to my ears … beautiful people … Arrogant, narcissist POS
The fact that “F— Trudeau” flags continue to be raised in a public display is sickening; all I can say is I’m glad I no longer have small children who are likely to be wondering what they are about when they see them attached to vehicles out in public, and in the parking lots of stores where people, along with their families, go shopping.
I will PROUDLY admit to having scratched off, and/or removed, obscene bumper stickers. I’ve yet to find a vehicle parked with one of those disgusting flags or I guarantee I’d be pulling it down and tearing it up.
NOTHING … absolutely NOTHING justifies garbage like that, and the numerous other things we have been subjected to since the protests that overwhelmed Ottawa in the spring of 2022.
Crass, lowlife, self-entitled, guttersnipe childish actions are NOT what Canada is about, nor should we have to be forced to have it thrown in our faces.
These jerks are creating chaos, and scaring the hell out of everyday Canadians who are wondering if things will ever be normal again.
And that leads me to question where we are headed if this kind of crap persists?
Where will thoughtful debate go when radicals, who insist on forcefully having their way, shout over everyone else?
These kinds of actions can only do one thing … they will send anyone with an ounce of common sense running from any thought of running for public office.
And that, sadly, will eventually lead to no one other than extremists / fascists running the show?
Call me paranoid, or accuse me of exaggerating things, but when I look into our past I GREATLY fear for the future of our country.
In Kamloops, I’m Alan Forseth … and I encourage you to feel free and share your thoughts.
Alan Forseth is a Kamloops resident. For 40 years he has been active, in a number of capacities, in local, provincial and federal politics, including running as a candidate for the BC Reform Party in the 1996 provincial election. He more recently was involved in the BC Liberal leadership campaign.

To P. Curtis …
Sorry but all I can say is you are showing a complete and total disregard, and respect, for those impacted by these jerks (that’s the politest term I’ll use)
Forcing their loutish behaviour on others is indeed their right, I suppose, however, it shows just what lowlifes and scum they are.
It also shows a total disregard for the rights of others to be able gather without be forced to have behgaviours such as was shown the other day in their faces.
And, I do believe there are still obscenity laws on the books — if they are, then those with the toilet mouths proudly waving their F— Trudeau flags, and tacky bumper stickers, should have to clean public toilets with a toothbrush.

The trump flag in that video kinda says it all. Behaviour like this is shown by people who have no sense of any kind of a reasonable, intelligent thought process.
Although yes, they have the right to protest, they dont know how to protest.
They dont realize that if they stated their displeasure in a way where viewing members of the public will not feel violently attacked, they might gather support.
Instead the only support they garner is from those who have a propensity to violence already. Thankfully, the potential crowd that finds this approach as reasonable is insignificantly tiny. It just ends up being a noisy minority.
Unfortunately, its a voting age minority that Conservative Poilievre has been courting regularly, in the way he soundbites his statements; designed specifically to attract these nimrods, and he is doing it well.
They are enabled, even if they are only well oiled, engineered pawns.
This video shows clearly that they have lost any modicum of decency,
and any awareness of appropriate political discourse.

Why can’t we all be KIND to each other?
Is that too much to ask?
Being KIND costs nothing. The returns are priceless.

Support democratic principles like dissent, freedom of expression, the right to protest and assemble on one hand.
Condemn the very sample principles on the other because you personally don’t like the views expressed.

Democratic principles are not what those low life, crass goons care about.

There is a HUGE difference between freedom of expression, and the right to protest, and the venom being skewed by these lowlife thugs.
If you can’t see that, or refuse to see it, then you are supporting this kind of behaviour — what a shame.

You both are showing extreme ignorance on the foundational principles that hold up western democracy.
It is often the most disagreeable, sometimes repugnant, and difficult speech and expression that must be protected.
Anything less becomes an imposition of someone’s morals against another. Neither of you are arbiters of morality, truth, or what is “acceptable”. It’s people like you that started with racism, then rock N roll, then Communism (Tommy Douglas police surveillance), then pornography, then video games – each time the sky is falling and your proclivity to suppress expression you disagree with bubbles to the surface.
The fact that you can voice your opposition to this crowd is no different than this crown voicing their opposition to an elected official. Crass and rude? Sure. Protected speech? Absolutely.
Take issue with the yelling and vitriol if you want, but calling a PM any number of names, rudely and loudly, is completely in line with what our Charter stands for.
That you are oblivious to this, is a greater offence and threat to this country than a thousand Trump flags and some F bombs.

It is unfortunately much more than Trump flags, f-bombs and all the other low-life expletives. People of ignorance are willing and quick to resort to violence. Luckily our institutions (enforcement and the judiciary) are still holding strong, pg.
