MISSING – Couple on road trip was last seen in Kamloops three days ago

FOUND – RCMP reported today (June 11, 2023) that Barbara and Allan Hunt have returned to their home in Williams Lake and are safe and sound.

EARLIER REPORT: Kamloops RCMP are asking for public assistance in locating Barbara and Allan Hunt, who were last confirmed to be in Kamloops three days ago.

“Barbara and Allan were reported missing by a family member yesterday on June 9, when they failed to be in contact as expected following an appointment in Kamloops on Wednesday,” stated S/Sgt. Janelle Shoih.

Barbara is described as a Caucasian woman, standing 5’2”, weighing 115 lbs, with short wavy brown hair and blue eyes.

Allan is described as a Caucasian man, standing 5’8”, weighing 170 lbs, with sandy brown hair and brown eyes.

Allan and Barbara are believed to be traveling in a brown, 2011, four-door Chevrolet Cruz, bearing B.C. licence plate HL577N, and may be traveling between Kamloops and Williams Lake or to Kelowna.

Anyone with information about Allan or Barbara Hunt’s whereabouts, or has seen their vehicle is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and cite file 2023-20346.
