MY FAVOURITE STORY OF THE WEEK was the one about Sadie, the sales-Husky.

If you didn’t see it, the online story was about a wonderful, weird-looking dog who photobombs her owner’s listings on an online auction page.

It was so completely silly — and that’s exactly why it was my favourite.

Not only that, it was straightforward and the opposite of controversial.

Here’s a goofy-looking dog. See how goofy she looks? That’s it.

It won’t win me any RTDNA awards, but I couldn’t care any less.

For a few fleeting moments as I interviewed Sadie’s owner and wrote up her story, I was transported away from the battle of the irresistible force meeting the immovable object. That is; the COVID-19 vaccine battle.
