Re: ROTHENBURGER: Defunding police forces won’t cure what ails them

Thank you for writing the article this week about defunding the police. Thank you for understanding how hard it is to be a police officer right now. My husband is an RCMP officer and I’m living in constant fear he will second guess himself if force has to be used, resulting in his own injuries or death. I’m equally scared he will use force to protect himself and thus end up all over the 6 o’clock news.

Your article made me believe that not everyone in the world has gone crazy and hopefully the level headed folks will start to make their voices heard.
