POLICE – Man in serious condition after shooting near Tranquille Road

A man in his 30s was taken to hospital early today (April 14, 2020) after being shot in an incident near Tranquille Road and Yew Street.

Police were called to the scene at 4:20 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a man in his 30s had been shot.  The man was in serious condition and transported to hospital.

Three men in the area have been arrested.

The investigation is in its infancy with Kamloops Serious Crime Unit taking the lead.

Anyone who witnessed the shooting or has information about it is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
