POLICE – Body found in North Thompson River near Dunes golf course

A body found in the North Thompson River near the Dunes golf course has been identified as a 37-year-old man.

The body was found Thursday (April 9, 2020) and has been  identified as Brandon Thomas Malkinson.

Police, coroner, and Kamloops Fire Rescue attended, locating the body in the water north of the golf course.

RCMP said there’s no indication of foul play. They’re trying to determine Malkinson‘s whereabouts before being found in the river and who he may have been with.  Police are requesting anyone who had contact with him after March 25 to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
