POLICE – Horse killed when hit by train in Rayleigh, rider taken to hospital

A horse was killed and its rider hospitalized today (Jan. 12, 2020) after they were hit by a Canadian National Railways train near Devick Road in Rayleigh around 10:30.

Sgt. Sascha Fesenko said rail and highway traffic were stopped for a short time while police investigated and the horse was removed.
