POLICE – Car hits vehicle, retaining wall, then house on Battle Street West

A stolen car  hit a parked vehicle early today (Nov. 4, 2019) before coming to rest against a house.

The accident happened at about 12:35 a.m. in the 400 block and Battle Street West  A Honda Accord went out of control, striking a parked vehicle and retaining wall before eventually coming to rest against the house.

Two occupants of the vehicle were observed running away from the scene, RCMP said.  None of the residents inside the house was injured.

The house itself appeared to have sustained only minor damage. A short time later the owner of the vehicle reported it stolen.
