POLICE – One murder suspect arrested, second still being sought

Hugh Alexander McIntosh was arrested today (Feb. 26, 2019) in Langley without incident, RCMP say.

McIntosh was wanted for the murder of Jason Glover, which occurred on Feb. 15 in a home on Tranquille Road.

Still outstanding and also wanted for this murder is Gordie Braaten. “All resources available at Kamloops RCMP are focused on locating Braaten, but the public’s assistance is still requested,” an RCMP news release stated.

If you know of the whereabouts of Gordie Braaten, contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or, if you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Braaten is considered to be armed and dangerous. “If you see him do not approach, contact the local police.”

He is described as Caucasian, 35, six feet tall, 165 lbs with short brown hair, green eyes and an athletic build.
