POLICE – Man wanted in one incident arrested, murder suspects still at large

A man wanted in connection with a robbery and kidnapping has been arrested.

Robert James Rennie was taken into custody by Penticton RCMP on an outstanding warrant of arrest on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019 after a traffic stop west of Kaleden.

Rennie’s warrant of arrest had been issued in relation to an incident Feb. 14, 2019 where two males were robbed and a female kidnapped in Kamloops. Rennie is charged with assault causing bodily harm.

Kamloops RCMP also continue to search for Gordon Braaten and Hugh Alex McIntosh who are charged with murder and attempted murder in relation to a shooting at a residence on Tranquille Road in Kamloops on Feb. 15, 2019.  Warrants of arrest have been issued for both Braaten and McIntosh, and if you have any information on their whereabouts call 911 immediately.
