POLICE – Photo released of different vehicle suspected in fatal hit-and-run
Police now believe they had the wrong car when they initially suspected a Dodge Neon was involved in a fatal hit-and-run on Seymour Street last weekend.
Kamloops RCMP said today (Oct. 25, 2018) new surveillance video has been obtained that shows a cobalt blue four-door sedan with black rims, and they think that might have been the vehicle involved in the early morning accident Oct. 21. They have released a photo of that car.
The make and model are unknown but it is believed that the model year is between 2010 – 2019. The hit-and-run happened about 1:30 a.m.
Police seized a Dodge Neon Wednesday but are now working with the registered owner to return it.
Once again, Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the cobalt blue sedan. If you recognize the suspect vehicle or have information about the owner or driver, please contact Kamloops RCMP. If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
