POLICE – Body of missing watercraft driver found in South Thompson
The body of a jet ski driver who went missing July 29 was found in the South Thompson River on Sunday near Grand Boulevard, RCMP said today (Sept. 4, 2018).
The man did not resurface after his watercraft collided with another personal watercraft, and intensive searching both on the water and by air failed to find him. The driver of the other jet ski made it to shore.
The body was discovered Sunday by a boater. Police said the file is now with the B.C. Corners Service. The man’s identity has not been released.
