POLICE – Kamloops man killed while repairing wheel loader

A 19-year-old Kamloops man was killed in a workplace accident Friday (June 29, 2018).

Kamloops RCMP, emergency services and WorksafeBC were called to the 10200 block of Dallas Drive where they found that the man died from injuries received while repairing a Caterpiller Wheel Loader.

He’s being identified on Facebook as Brendan Stokes, an employee of Kamloops Tirecraft.

The investigation into the tragedy is being conducted by WorksafeBC in conjunction with the B.C. Coroner’s Service..
