POLICE – Two rescued from river after personal-watercraft collision

Two personal watercraft operators were plucked from the South Thompson River today (May 17, 2018) after a collision near the 770 block of Shuswap Road.

RCMP were called to the scene at 3:15 p.m. where one of the riders was found immediately. The other rider drifted downstream before being rescued.  Both suffered non-life threatening injuries.

BC Ambulance and Kamloops Fire and Rescue also attended.
