POLICE – Motorcyclist killed in collision with car on Highway 5A

A 63-year-old motorcyclist was killed in last night’s (May 16, 2018) accident on Highway 5A about 2 km. south of Campbell Creek Road.

Witnesses say the northbound motorcycle went out of control, crossed the center line and hit an oncoming car about 4:30 p.m. The man died en route to hospital.

The highway was closed in this area from 4:40 p.m. until 10 p.m. when alternating lanes were opened.

Kamloops RCMP and the B.C. Corners Service are investigating.
