FLOOD WATCH – Barnhartvale Road reopened at Campbell Creek bridge

Flooding at Campbell Creek.

With the water receding in Campbell Creek, crews have assessed the stability of Barnhartvale Road and reopened the 7200 block near the Barnhartvale Hall, which closed on May 5 due to rising creek water.

The City said today (May 15, 2018) it is working closely with the B.C. River Forecast Centre and Emergency Management B.C. to monitor snowpack levels, snow melt, and water levels in local waterways.

The City will continue to provide updates on water levels and flood preparation activities as necessary.
