FLOOD WATCH – Evacuation order issued in Lower Nicola area

An evacuation order was issued Sunday afternoon (May 6, 2018) for several properties in the Lower Nicola area due to flooding.

The order affects 254 Merritt-Spences Bridge Highway 8 (Lower Nicola Mobile Home Park) and 125,356,374 and 456 Marshall Rd.

An evacuation alert was issued for the vicinity of Lower Nicola-Guichon Creek — 276 aand 316 Merritt-Spences Bridge Highway 8, 323 Guichon Ave., 2350 Carrington St., and 340, 2205 and 2215 Marshall Road.
