LETTER – All of the plastics collected in B.C. are processed locally in B.C.

I just wanted to send a clarification for a point made in your post “GARBAGE – China’s ban on foreign garbage reveals recycling’s weakness.”

Towards the end of the post it states that ‘Stringent sorting allows continued exports of quality plastics to China…’, however all of the plastics collected in B.C. are processed locally in B.C.; none of our collected plastic is exported to China or any other overseas market. We’ve also sent a correction to the original article published.
