Sun Peaks residents are being asked to check out their buildings as Kamloops Rural RCMP continue their investigation into Ryan Shtuka’s disappearance.

Cpl. Jodie Shelkie said today (Feb. 21, 2018) Shtuka, who went missing early Saturday morning, may have made his way into a shed, garage or unlocked vehicle.

She said police are also actively following up on all tips received regarding Shtuka’s disappearance.

“So far there have been no tips that substantiate Ryan left the village of Sun Peaks on Feb. 17.”

If anyone does believe they saw him after 2:50 a.m. last Saturday, they are asked to contact Kamloops Rural RCMP at 250-314-1800 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
