POLICE – Man, woman in custody after Holt Street apartment shooting

Kamloops RCMP are investigating a shooting this morning (Nov. 4, 2017) in which a tenant of an apartment building at 805 Holt St. was wounded.

Staff Sgt. Michael Grondin said a 24-year-old man reported being hit by a bullet about 10:15 a.m.

Police secured the area and established containment of one suspect apartment. A 45-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were taken into custody and are cooperating with the investigation, Grondin said.

The victim was treated for his injury at RIH and released from hospital.
