The Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association is looking for a new executive director.

The association announced today (Nov. 2, 2017) that Gay Pooler will leave in February. It said the change has been planned for many months and expects a smooth transition.

Pooler has been involved with the KCBIA since its creation in 2002. President Mike O’Reilly thanked her for her “commitment, dedication and passion.”

The downtown association is the second to lose its executive director in the last two weeks.

North Shore BIA executive director Steven Puhallo announced last week that he is leaving that organization.
