POLICE – Suspect arrested in death in early morning fight on street
A 27-year-old Kamloops man has been arrested in connection with the death of Sean Dunn last Dec. 30.
In the early morning on that date, Kamloops RCMP received a complaint of a fight near the 400 block of Tranquille Road. Initial reports indicated that a fight in progress had left a lone male unconscious on the ground.
Medical treatment was administered by B.C. Ambulance but the 42-year-old Dunn succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Police said information gathered at the time of the incident indicated that the fight appeared to have stemmed from an argument between two men who had become acquainted that night at a local pub.
RCMP said today (June 19, 2017) James David Bond was arrested Friday, and faces a charge of second-degree murder. He was scheduled to go before a judge today.
