POLICE – Man asks pizza clerk to change $20 bill, then grabs money
Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed Papa John’s Pizza, located on Highway 5A.
On Saturday (March 18, 2017) at about 1 p.m., a man entered Papa John’s and asked the clerk to make change for a $20 bill. When the clerk advised him that it was not the store’s policy to make change, the man showed the clerk a knife, grabbed money from the register and left, running south.
The suspect is described as being 35-40 years old, 6’3” with an average build, and with a beard. He was wearing a black sweater with the hood pulled over his head, a dark-coloured baseball cap and jeans.
If you have any information on this robbery or can identify the suspect please contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

It’s too bad retail workers are such easy pickings for guys like that.
Working retail is challenging enough without having the worry of who might come through the door next and is packing a knife.
