POLICE – Man demands money from 7-Eleven clerk, flees when refused

Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man who robbed the 7-Eleven Store on Summit Drive late Sunday night (Feb. 26, 2017).

At about 11 p.m., a man entered the store on Summit Drive, approached the counter and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk refused to provide him with any money and the man then quickly fled the store on foot.

The suspect is described as a First Nations male, about 5’9”, missing his two front teeth, and wearing a blue bandana over his face, a black baseball hat, and a dark hoody.

The man did not brandish a weapon or make any threats to the clerk and no one was injured in this incident.
