Homicide victim identified, investigation continues
Kamloops RCMP are still investigating the death of a 42-year-old man in connection with an apparent fight near a Tranquille Road bar last week.
Sean Dunn died at the scene after being found unconscious by first responders near the 400 block of Tranquille Road about 3 a.m. Dec. 30. He was given medical treatment but died at the scene.
Police have still not indicated the nature of his injuries.
Dunn moved to Kamloops from Prince George in 1981 and attended Bert Edwards elementary school and NorKam secondary school. He worked in the forest industry.
The investigation into Dunn’s death is being led by the Kamloops RCMP Serious Crime Unit.
“Information that has been gathered to date indicates that this event appears to have stemmed from an argument between two individuals who became acquainted possibly that night at a local pub,” said Cpl Jodie Shelkie.
