15-year-old girl killed by hit-and-run driver, police search for vehicle

police-lightsA teenaged girl was killed tonight (Friday, Nov. 4, 2016) by a hit-and-run driver on Pacific Way.

The 15-year-old died at the scene after the accident, which happened about 6:45 p.m.

RCMP say they have no description of the vehicle, but it’s believed to be a pickup truck. Cpl. Jodie Shelkie said police were canvassing the area looking for a vehicle that has damage to the front passenger side.

The accident shut down traffic in both directions.

  1. Geez. What a tragedy. Hopefully the driver does the right thing and turns himself in.
