Kamloops woman disappears after boarding bus for Edmonton

UPDATE: RCMP report that Julia Cail has been located.

Earlier story: Julia Cail boarded a Greyhound bus in Kamloops on Wednesday and hasn’t been seen since.

RCMP are asking the public’s help in finding the 79-year-old who is believed to have gotten onto the bus at 12:10 p.m. heading for Edmonton.

The bus made several stops along the way, including a bus transfer in Calgary.

Cail is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • Short, brown hair, greying around temples
  • 150 lbs
  • 4 foot 10 inches
  • Last seen wearing bright red, waist length jacket
  • Blue jeans
  • White sneakers
  • Could be travelling with two wheeled, dark blue suitcases.

Police said today (Friday, Oct. 21, 2016) Cail’s family is concerned for her wellbeing. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Julia Cail is asked to call the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
