River searched after report someone jumped from bridge

NEWS/ POLICE — Kamloops Fire and Rescue and RCMP searched the South Thompson River today looking a bridge jumper but didn’t find one.

A report came in just after 7:30 a.m. that someone was jumping off the Yellowhead Bridge. A police boat and helicopter searched the river without success.

They continue to investigate.
