ENTERTAINMENT — Music in the Park kicks off for another year on July 1, showcasing a variety of artists in 62 evenings of free performances through to Aug. 31.

The City of Kamloops and BCLC sponsor the program, which runs each evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Rotary Bandshell in Riverside Park. Groups such as Tiller’s Folly, the Nova Scotiables, and the Mike MacKenzie Blues Band will be among the performers.

B.C. Living Arts will present two ‘Hijacked’ evenings, and BCLC will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a Midsummer Music Jam on July 23 featuring Catch 22 and hosted by weather guy Mark Madryga.

McDonald Park’s Music in the Park on Fridays will host its 9th year starting July 3 until Aug. 28. The Friday evening performances are at the Gazebo starting at 7 p.m.

For the nightly listings or to print a copy of the monthly schedule visit the Events page on the City’s website. All concerts are “rain or shine” and are subject to change.
