Motorcycle robber hits Cooper’s pharmacy in Westsyde

NEWS/ POLICE — RCMP are looking for a man who robbed the Cooper’s Foods Pharmacy at 3435 Westsyde Road on Saturday afternoon.

The man entered the store about 1:30 p.m. wearing a black motorcycle helmet and demanded money and prescription medication from an employee.

Sgt. Joe Morrissey said the man then fled on a motorcycle. General duty officers, a police dog and the RCMP helicopter searched for the suspect without success. Morrissey said the man was wearing a yellow T-shirt, shorts and black helmet.
